3. Our Services
We specialise in professional restoration and cleaning of shower screens & glass surfaces to remove stubborn mineral deposits, limescale, water spots, and cloudy buildup.
All work is performed with care using specialised techniques and products designed for hard water conditions common in Perth.
We aim to restore your glass to a visibly clearer condition and remove all surface buildup where possible.
Important Note on Pre-existing Damage: Existing scratches, etching, or surface imperfections that are currently hidden or masked by calcium and mineral buildup (often from previous DIY cleaning attempts or other parties) may become visible once the deposits are removed. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that such pre-existing scratches or damage may be revealed during or after the restoration process. We are not responsible for scratches or imperfections that were not caused by our work.
Results can vary depending on the age, condition, quality and type of glass, as well as the severity of existing deposits. The customer accepts that some mineral deep etching or long-term damage may not be fully reversible and is unfortunately the cause of glass neglect with calcium/mineral buildup being the evidence of such.
The customer acknowledges that a glass panel or shower screen with significant calcium or mineral buildup that could not be removed through their own cleaning efforts is already in a compromised/damaged condition.
In such cases, any visible improvement to the clarity and appearance of the glass after our professional restoration service will be considered a successful outcome.
4. Quotes and Bookings
All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
A booking is confirmed only when you accept the quote in writing (email or text) and we confirm the appointment.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.
5. Pricing and Payment
The price is as quoted. Any additional work required (e.g. heavy buildup, extra panels, or difficult access) will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.
Travel / Service Area Charge: Our standard service area is within a 25km radius of Subiaco, Western Australia. For locations beyond this radius, a travel fee will apply and will be clearly stated in the quote.
Payment is required on completion of the service on the day or pre-payment.
We accept bank transfer, cash, or card (surcharges may apply for card payments).
Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month.
6. Customer Responsibilities
To allow us to provide the best possible service, you agree to:
Provide safe and clear access to the work area (clear pathways, no trip hazards).
Remove any fragile, valuable, or personal items near/on the glass before we arrive.
Please make sure that the shower recess is dry.
Ensure electricity and water are available at the premises.
Notify us in advance of any known hazards, allergies, or access issues.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price.
If we cannot access the site on the agreed date/time through no fault of ours, the full fee will still apply.
8. Liability and Limitations
We take reasonable care to avoid damage to your property. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage, scratches, etching, or imperfections in the glass or surrounding area.
We are not responsible for damage caused by faulty installation, poor-quality glass, poor and inadequate joinery, aged silicone/rubber seals or structural issues.
Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
We recommend you remove valuables and secure the area. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the work area.
9. Warranty / Satisfaction
GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating Limited Warranty
At GlassGlow Restoration, we take pride in the quality of our workmanship and stand behind every professionally applied GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating.
Upon completion of the service, customers will be invited to inspect the completed work before payment is made. Payment constitutes acceptance that the work has been completed to the customer's satisfaction, subject to the terms of this Limited Warranty and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating is an advanced nanotechnology surface treatment that forms an ultra-thin, optically clear protective barrier on the glass surface. The coating is designed to help repel water and reduce the adhesion of soap scum, body oils, mineral deposits and other common contaminants, making routine cleaning quicker and easier while helping to preserve the appearance and clarity of the glass.
The coating is a preventative protective treatment. It is not intended to repair, restore or conceal scratches, chips, manufacturing defects, glass distortion, existing etching or any other imperfections present in the glass prior to application.
Warranty Period
GlassGlow Restoration provides a conservative Limited Warranty that the professionally applied GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating is expected to continue providing its intended protective properties for:
Up to five (5) years on residential shower glass.
Up to ten (10) years on eligible exterior glass surfaces, including windows, glass pool fencing and glass balustrades.
This Limited Warranty applies under normal residential conditions and is subject to the coated glass being properly maintained in accordance with the GlassGlow Restoration Care Guide.
Actual coating performance and longevity may vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, water quality, environmental exposure, frequency of use, cleaning methods, maintenance practices and site conditions.
What This Warranty Covers
Where the coating has been professionally applied and maintained in accordance with the GlassGlow Restoration Care Guide, this Limited Warranty covers a material reduction in the intended protective performance of the GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating during the applicable warranty period.
If GlassGlow Restoration determines that a valid warranty claim exists, we will, at our discretion, inspect the coated surface and repair or reapply the GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating to the affected area where reasonably practicable.
Conditions of Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies only where:
The coating has been professionally applied by GlassGlow Restoration.
The customer has strictly followed the GlassGlow Restoration Care Guide and recommended maintenance instructions provided at the time of service.
Only suitable, non-abrasive cleaning products and methods have been used.
The coated surface has not been subjected to misuse, neglect, physical damage or unsuitable cleaning methods.
GlassGlow Restoration is notified within a reasonable time after any suspected warranty issue becomes apparent.
Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
The normal re-accumulation of mineral deposits, soap scum or other contaminants over time. These are naturally occurring conditions and are expected, particularly in hard water areas such as Perth. The GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating is designed to reduce the adhesion of these contaminants and make them easier to remove through routine cleaning, but it does not prevent their gradual accumulation.
Normal wear resulting from use and environmental exposure.
Damage caused by abrasive pads, steel wool, razor blades, scouring products or polishing compounds.
Damage caused by acidic, alkaline or other harsh chemical cleaners.
Scratches, chips, cracks, impact damage or accidental damage.
Manufacturing defects or imperfections within the glass itself.
Existing glass etching, corrosion or other damage present prior to coating.
Damage caused by building works, renovations, paint overspray, welding contamination, concrete splatter or other third-party activities.
Commercial applications unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
This Limited Warranty is limited solely to the inspection, repair or reapplication of the GlassGlow Restoration™ Nano-Coating where a valid warranty claim is accepted.
GlassGlow Restoration shall not be liable for the replacement of glass, labour performed by third parties, loss of use, indirect or consequential loss, or any costs beyond the original coating application.
